Tickets & Timing

• Hassan II Mosque: Interior visits run only at set times and pause during prayer hours; tickets are required and paid on site. Your guide will adapt the order if times shift.

• Fridays & Ramadan: Expect adjusted hours and possible crowding/closures at the mosque and some sites.

• Punctuality: To keep the day smooth, pickups start right on time. Traffic can be busy—your guide may reorder stops to avoid jams.

What to Wear & Bring

• Modest attire for the mosque: Shoulders and knees covered for all visitors. Headscarf is not required but welcomed; bring one if you prefer.

• Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes; you’ll remove shoes for the mosque interior (bring socks if you like).

• Sun & comfort: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle.

• Light daypack: For camera, small purchases, and a shoe bag for the mosque (plastic bags are often provided, but a reusable one is handy).

Money & Shopping

• Currency: Moroccan dirham (MAD). Markets and small vendors are often cash-only; ATMs are common.

• Bargaining: Expected in souks; start friendly and enjoy the process.

• Cards: Larger restaurants (e.g., Rick’s Café) usually accept cards; bring cash for bakeries and stalls.

• Lunch is at your own expense. Seafood at Marché Central is popular; tell your guide about dietary needs (vegetarian/halal/gluten-free).

• Water: Stick to sealed bottles; avoid ice if you have a sensitive stomach.

• Allergies: Nuts (almonds), sesame, and gluten appear in many pastries—ask before tasting.

Photography & Etiquette

• People: Always ask before photographing individuals.

• Sensitive areas: No photos of police, military, or government buildings (including Royal Palace exteriors beyond public viewpoints).

• Mosque interior: Photography is generally allowed, quietly and respectfully—no flash during prayers or tours.

Accessibility & Pace

• Walking level: Light to moderate with short drives between sites; surfaces can be uneven in Habous and markets.

• Mobility needs: Tell us in advance about wheelchairs, canes, or strollers so we can plan drop-offs and pacing.

• Climate control: Your private A/C vehicle is available between stops for rest and cool-down.
